The past few weeks I've been busy with taking an online
art workshop. Through this I have learned to enjoy myself and not compare myself
to others. This is all new to me. I'm having so much fun. I've learned that
being myself and making something that I'm proud of means more to me than
trying to copy someone elses style. Our first assignment for week one was to
create a workspace and inspiration board.
In the corner of my room you can find the place where I just love to be. A place where I get inspired and spend time creating. On my desk I have washi tape, a candle, pens, pencils, paint and paint brushes. Everything I need is readily available. Even if I have just a few minutes, I can enjoy a little time for myself. :)
This is my inspiration wall. Postcards, quotes, pictures and notes. Some of my favorite things that inspire me. :)
Wishing you all a day to enjoy some of your favorite things. :)
I'm so glad to see the photos on blogger are working again for you dear! I loved seeing your room! Our room is painted lavender as well! :) Oh, and I sent a letter off towards you this morning!

Lovely inspirational board. Is that a drawing of Holly Hobbie in the blue and white outfit? She looks just like her!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely space you've created, its so spacious and the colours so relaxing. Mine often looks like something exploded. I also love your inspiration board, its so inspiring.
ReplyDeleteInspiration wall, what a great idea! Good day! :)
